I am glad the things I have been told haven’t all been true, this has encouraged me to want to continue exploring what I don’t know about different religions to better understand what I may not know. After reading the Qur’an I feel many of the things I have been taught to believe about the Islamic religion are actually not true or just misunderstood information about Islam. These two religions seem to be “opposing” religions so it’s comical to me that there are the similarities that there are. Based on the comparable stories Islam seems as if it was almost inspired by the Christian religion.
I understand this is a pretty big difference in belief but I honestly thought there were going to be more differences between Islam and Christianity than there are. It actually really shocked the hell out of me that the only real difference between these two religions (other than names, dates, and location) is the belief of one undivided God. I find it odd that Christians and Muslims oppose each other so much considering how many of the stories are similar, even involving the same prophet’s. While studying Islam I was very surprised at the vast amount of similarities between the Qur’an and the Hebrew Bible.#Tintii for rab movie
